Distribution: NB to central FL to AZ to southern MN. Kentucky records are nearly statewide (Map 009).

Chemical lures: Ethanol ( Montgomery & Wargo 1983), R*R*- diol ( Hanks & Millar 2013) and a blend of 3- hydroxyoctan-2-one + syn -2,3-hexanediol + ethanol ( Miller et al. 2022)

Comments: Lights and Malaise traps accounted for most specimens of this commonly collected species.
