Taxonomic note: Anelaphus parallelus was recently synonymized under A. villosus (Lingafelter 2020) .
Distribution: NB to central FL to AZ to southern MN. Kentucky records are nearly statewide (Map 009).

Comments: Lights and Malaise traps accounted for most specimens of this commonly collected species.
