Distribution: Southern PQ to NC to AR to MN. Kentucky specimens were collected in the eastern half of the state (Map 169).

Larval host plants: Conium maculatum , Castanea spp. , Quercus spp. , Carya porcina and Juglans cinerea ( Monné & Nearns 2022c)
Chemical lures: 3 R *-ketone (in the absence of R*S *-diol) and R*S*-diol ( Hanks & Millar 2013) and anti -C6- diol ( Millar et al. 2017)
Comments: Attracted to fermenting sugar.
Semanotus ligneus (Fabricius, 1787) ; Callidiini “cedartree borer” [new state record] Distribution: NB to GA to TX to southern MB. Kentucky specimens were from the central third of the state ( Interior Plateau ; Map 170).
