Distribution: DE to south FL to southern AZ to MO, with Mexican records as far south as the Yucatan. The single Kentucky record was photographed in the far western part of the state (Mississippi Valley Loess Plains; Map 146).

Larval host plants: Bumelia lanuginosa , Carya , Morus and Nyssa uniflora ( Monné & Nearns 2022c)
Comments: Attracted to lights and fermenting sugar. It can be collected on the stems of desert broom ( Baccharis ) in the southwestern part of its range.
