Distribution: Southern PQ to NC to southern AZ to IA. The few Kentucky specimens were collected in the north-central part of the state ( Interior Plateau and Western Allegheny Plateau (Map 140).

Larval host plants: Carya ( Lingafelter 2007) , Quercus spp. , and Vitis ( Monné & Nearns 2022c)
Chemical lures: A blend of: 3-hydroxyhexan-2-one + (2 R *,3 R *)-2,3-hexanediol + racemic (E)-fuscumol + racemic (E)-fuscumol acetate + monochamol + racemic 2-methylbutan-1-ol ( Hanks & Millar 2013)
Comments: Adults can be collected by beating dead and dying oak ( Quercus alba and Q. macrocarpa ) branches ( Bousquet et al. 2017).
