Distribution: Southern PQ to FL to west TX to southern WI. The two Kentucky specimens were collected in the eastern half of the state (Map 129).

Comments: This species, rarely collected in Kentucky, is attracted to lights. They can also be found at night on the trunks of their hosts ( Bousquet et al. 2017).
