Distribution: NF to GA to AR to southern MB and west to BC and NT. Kentucky specimens were from the eastern third of the state (the two Appalachian ecoregions; Map 192).

Adult flower hosts: Achillea, Anthriscus , Ceanothus , Chrysanthemum , Cornus , Crataegus , Heracleum , Sorbus , Viburnum ( Bousquet et al. 2017) , Aruncus and Prunus ( Lingafelter 2007)
Comments: Adults diurnal, found on flowers.
