Distribution: NY to northern GA to AR to southern MN to southern ON. Kentucky specimens are mostly from the Interior Plateau (Map 111).

Collections (9 records, 12 specimens): ABRC (2), AMBC (1), EGCCRC (6), PDBC (1), iNat (2)
Collection methods: Malaise trap (5); panel trap baited with α-pinene (1)
Larval host plants: Castanea and Quercus with a questionable record for Pinus ( Bousquet et al. 2017)
Comments: Attracted to lights but can also be collected during the day. EGC collected a series of males on leaves in a sunny spot in a forested area just east of Berea.
