THE ACONCINNUM View in CoL GROUP
Diagnosis: Forewing not extensively covered with small spots ( Fig. 36A, B View Figure 36 ), marginal clouds apparent and dark; Rs fork obtuse; 3rd section of CuA arched. Male terminalia. Eighth venter ( Fig. 37C, G View Figure 37 ) with large transverse sclerite medially fused with hypandrium. Epiproct ( Fig. 37A, B, E, F View Figure 37 ) chair-shaped, postero-dorsal margin with projection at middle, epiproct lobe protruded over clunium. Hypandrium ( Fig. 37C, G View Figure 37 ) asymmetrical, left process well developed, right process lamellate. Phallosome ( Fig. 37D, H View Figure 37 ) asymmetrical, pseudoparameres usually needlelike, left one projected posteriorly and right one projected postero-internally; aedeagus broadly sclerotized
Key to species of the aconcinnum group
1. Median tongue relatively long, about 2.5 times longer than wide ( Fig. 37C View Figure 37 ) ............... T. aconcinnum sp. nov. – Median tongue relatively short, about 2 times longer than wide ( Fig. 37G View Figure 37 )..................... T. guttatum sp. nov.
and strongly projected posteriorly. Females of this group are so far unknown.
