Notes

Thickly encrusting sponges with groups of tubes clustered around one or two central, conspicuous, volcano-shaped main tubes with multiple oscules. Maximum recorded size: 50 cm across. Surface undulating and texture tough. From the top, the sponge looks like a volcano. Colour is green (Fig. 154).
