Ponds and other lentic waterbodies.
Distribution.
Widespread to Western, Central, Northern and Eastern Africa; reaching the Palaearctic in Egypt and Morocco.
St Lucia records.
Recorded at Western Shores, Eastern Shores and False Bay in July 2014 and January/February 2015.
