Genus Polonosuchus nov.

Etymology: From Latin Polonia, Poland, the country in which the holotype was found, and souchos or suchus (Greek term for the Egyptian crocodile god Sobek).

Type species: Polonosuchus silesiacus Sulej, 2005 .

Diagnosis.—Same as for the only known species.
