Note.

Fruit warty and additionally covered with stellate hairs (Fig. 33D View Figure 33 ); fruit thickness 0.6-0.8 mm.

Holotype.

CHINA, Tibet, [Ngari pref.], 32°31'N, 80°04'E, Shiquan [ Sênggê] river, alt. 3800 m a.s.l., 3 August 1984, Zhengxi An 1-10092 (XJA!).

Taxonomic note.

This variety is close to C. gelidum Iljin with the main difference in the fruit length (compare Sukhorukov 2007a, 2007b, Sukhorukov et al. 2014) and both taxa can grow together (PRA!).
