Notes

In the Mediterranean only reported from Greece ( Maidanou et al. 2017). Originally described from Madeira; possibly underreported due to confusion with Nereis rava (Ehlers, 1864) or Ceratonereis hircinicola (Eisig, 1870) ( Núñez and Brito 2002).
