Etymology. The species name comes from the Chinese word “Longlin”, which means Dragon scales, referring to the scaly surface of embolar base projection ( Fig. 15A View FIGURE 15 ); noun in apposition.
Diagnosis. This new species resembles X. benae sp. n. in genitalic structures, but can be distinguished by the larger body size, the curved embolus, an almost triangular retrolateral tibial apophysis, and the presence of a broom-shaped distolateral embolar base projection ( Fig. 16 View FIGURE 16 ; vs. a relatively straight embolus with edge angle, an almost trapezoidal retrolateral tibial apophysis, and a nail-shaped ventral embolar base projection, Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 ) in males, and the v-shaped anterior parts of the lateral folds, the globular secondary spermathecae and the once curved copulatory duct ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 ; vs. arc-shaped anterior parts of the lateral folds, oval secondary spermathecae, and twice curved copulatory duct, Fig. 20C‒D View FIGURE 20 ) in females.
Description. Male. Total length 4.03–4.85. Holotype (Fig.A‒B; MHBU-ARA-2018-103-1): total length 4.08; carapace 2.02 long, 1.47 wide; abdomen 2.06 long, 1.39 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.08, ALE 0.11, PME 0.08, PLE 0.08; AME‒AME 0.06, AME‒ALE 0.01, PME‒PME 0.04, PME‒PLE 0.05, ALE‒PLE 0.04. Leg measurements: I 4.96 (1.44, 0.62, 1.22, 0.94, 0.74), II 4.51 (1.26, 0.62, 1.03, 0.83, 0.77), III 3.98 (1.08, 0.48, 0.79, 0.93, 0.70), IV 5.94 (1.49, 0.71, 1.29, 1.57, 0.88). Leg formula: 4123. Cheliceral promargin with four teeth, retromargin with two ( Fig. 2M–N View FIGURE 2 ). Color in alcohol ( Fig. 15A–B View FIGURE 15 ): carapace dark brown; legs yellow-brown.
Palp ( Figs 3E View FIGURE 3 , 16 View FIGURE 16 ). Retrolateral tibial apophysis broad, slightly curved with a thin, triangular membranous projection dorsally; embolar radix projection absent; embolar base projection broom-shaped, with saw-like edges and scaly surface; embolus thick, curved; median apophysis with wide base, narrow curved distal part with blunt apex.
Female. Paratype (Fig. C‒D; MHBU-ARA-2018-103-7): total length 5.09; carapace 2.23 long, 1.60 wide; abdomen 2.86 long, 1.61 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.09, ALE 0.14, PME 0.08, PLE 0.09, AME‒ AME 0.02, AME‒ALE 0.02, PME‒PME 0.05, PME‒PLE 0.05, ALE‒PLE 0.07. Leg measurements: I 5.05 (1.57, 0.65, 1.24, 0.82, 0.77), II 4.80 (1.36, 0.71, 1.09, 0.80, 0.84), III 3.09 (0.19, 0.52, 0.77, 0.93, 0.68), IV 6.43 (1.77, 0.80, 1.30, 1.68, 0.88). Leg formula: 4123. Chelicerae ( Fig. 2O View FIGURE 2 ) as in male. Color in alcohol ( Fig. 15C–D View FIGURE 15 ) as in male.
Epigyne ( Fig. 17A–B View FIGURE 17 ).Atrium almost trapezoidal, with eight well sclerotized transversal folds; scape with a ratio of length to width more than 1.5; anterior fold partly sclerotized; anterior parts of the lateral folds and posterior parts of the lateral folds v-shaped, close with each other; copulatory duct curved once anteriorly; secondary spermathecae globular, small.
Distribution. China (Xizang) ( Fig. 23 View FIGURE 23 ).
