Diagnosis. P. wanigela differs from all other species of the genus by the characteristic shape of the female subgenital plate that has the lobes globular with obtuse apex, a median carina reaching only about the middle of the subgenital plate, and baso-lateral grooves opening lateral ( Figs. 461, 504).

Description. Fastigium verticis in front of eyes 0.8 mm, from base 1.3 mm; dorsal eye length 1.5 mm; greatest diameter of eye 1.7 mm; index fastigium verticis from base: eye length 0.8. Face rugose. Vertex little furrowed, shining. Tegmen little surpassing hind knees, costal field wide in basal two thirds, narrow in apical third. Prosternal spine much shorter than fore coxa ( Fig. 50). Femora with the following number of spines on ventral margins: fore femur 5–6 external, 5 internal; mid femur 6 external, 1 internal; hind femur 7 external, no internal.

Male unknown.

Female. Subgenital plate with a high median carina and a transverse subbasal furrow at each side; apex terminating into two triangular lobes; lateral areas curved dorsad and with an ovoid groove ( Figs. 461, 504, 527).

Coloration. Uniformly medium brown (not well preserved, partly green when alive?). Face orange brown; dorsal area of clypeus and mandibles reddish brown; ventral area of clypeus and labrum yellowish; apex of mandibles black. Tegmen with yellow veins and veinlets and brown cells. Legs for the most part yellowish brown (green when alive?). Hind knees medium brown.

Measurements of female: body 27; pronotum 7.2; tegmen 23.5; hind femur 16; ovipositor 15.5 mm.

Etymology. Named after the type locality; noun in apposition.
