Bionomics. Active predator that lives in natural and anthropogenic biotopes, along banks of rivers and reservoirs, on open steppe areas and meadows with high humidity level, in forest cover, under stones, on flowing sap of trees, in plant and animal remains. As accidental mycetobiont, it occurs in old and rotten carpophores of fungi.
Distribution. Holarctic Region ( Schülke & Smetana 2015).
