To date two species from Burmese amber are described, Nemopalpus velteni Wagner & Stuckenberg, 2012 (p. 357), and N. quadrispiculatus Stebner et al., 2015 (p. 22/34). With additional material description can be improved, because not all features were clearly visible or interpretable from single specimens. All species from Burmese amber are combined in genus Palaeoglaesum gen. nov.
