Bubocorophiina subtribe nov.

Type genus. Bubocorophium Karaman, 1981

Diagnosis. Siphonoecetini with rostrum straight, curved, blunt or absent; antenna 2 flagellum with 2 robust setae on article 3, several robust setae on articles 1 and 2 ( Fig. 3 Eb); gnathopod 2 propodus posterior margin concave (occasionally weakly so), cutting edge posteriorly defined by 2–3 robust setae ( Fig. 2 C 4 c 2 ); coxal plates 3 and 4 with long simple setae on entire margin ( Fig. 3 A 1 ); pereopods 5–6 carpus apex with 1 long and 1–2 short robust setae ( Fig. 3 B 1 ); unguis of pereopods 5–7 with accessory claw ( Fig. 3 B 1 ); uropod 2 with single ramus ( Fig. 3 C 2 ), rarely with 2 rami, or uropod 2 absent; uropod 3 with single short ramus or ramus absent. Females with sternal papillae on pereonite 7 ( Fig. 3 D ; 6 and 7 = pereonites 6 and 7).
