Tekellina haosiwen Lin & Li , sp. nov. ( Figs 57A View Figure 57 , 58A View Figure 58 , 59A View Figure 59 , 60A–B View Figure 60 )

Etymology. The species is named after Hao Siwen, a character in the classic Chinese novel Outlaws of the Marsh; noun in apposition.

Diagnosis. The new species resembles T. sadamotoi Yoshida & Ogata, 2016 (see Marusik & Omelko, 2017) but differs by the tip of the ventral arm of the conductor with 5 serrations and a fold (vs. absent). The female shares the same shape of the spermathecae with T. sadamotoi , but it can be distinguished by the distance of copulatory openings being wider than the distance between the retrolateral sides of spermathecae (vs. narrowed).

Description. Male (holotype). Total length 0.84, carapace 0.37 long, 0.40 wide, opisthosoma 0.44 long, 0.59 wide. Leg measurements: I 1.47 (0.47, 0.51, 0.30, 0.19), II 1.50 (0.47, 0.55, 0.30, 0.18), III 1.04 (0.31, 0.33, 0.21, 0.19), IV 1.29 (0.40, 0.46, 0.26, 0.17).

Coloration ( Fig. 60A View Figure 60 ). Carapace oval, pale yellow, eye region projecting anteriorly; clypeus concave. Eyes almost equal in size, yellowish brown ring around eyes. Leg white, with gray dense setae. Opisthosoma pale yellow, almost as long as wide, with white spots.

Palp ( Figs 57A View Figure 57 , 58A View Figure 58 ). Patella almost 2 times longer than tibia. Cymbium circular, with complex paracymbium projecting and hooked. Bulb round. Retrolateral arm of conductor finger shaped, ventral arm of conductor slightly curved, tip with 5 serrations and fold. Embolus thin, long and largely coiled with thick base.

Female (one paratype Ar44867). Total length 1.22, carapace 0.39 long, 0.43 wide, opisthosoma 0.84 long, 0.89 wide. Leg measurements: I 1.59 (0.49, 0.59, 0.29, 0.22), II 1.65 (0.53, 0.62, 0.30, 0.20), III 1.16 (0.37, 0.35, 0.23, 0.21), IV 1.45 (0.46, 0.51, 0.27, 0.21).

Coloration ( Fig. 60B View Figure 60 ). Similar to that of male except paler.

Epigyne ( Fig. 59A View Figure 59 ). Epigynal plate almost as long as wide. Copulatory openings oval, distance between copulatory openings wider than distance between retrolateral sides of spermathecae. Copulatory ducts long, transparent, with 3 turns to the tip of spermathecae. Spermathecae oblong, almost 3 times longer than wide. Fertilization duct directed at 12:00-o’clock-position from spermatheca.

Material examined. Holotype ♂ (IZCAS-Ar44866), China: Chongqing, Chengkou Co., 26.VI.2023, Yuyang Zhou leg. Paratypes. 1♂ 3♀ (IZCAS-Ar44867–Ar44870), same data as holotype .
