Diagnosis. Mandibles longer than length of clypeus, distinctly cross each other. Clypeus as wide as long, weakly emarginate apically. Female with two cephalic foveae, usually no depression present on vertex. Vertex not sloping behind ocelli. Pronotal carina generally well developed. Anterior face of pronotum smooth, without foveae. Epicnemial carina weakly developed. Pretegular carina well developed. Tegula longer than wide, emarginate posteriorly adjoining parategula, surpassing apex of later ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 25 – 30 ). Axillary fossa narrow. Metanotum angled, with dorsal raised disc, in dorsal view with semicircular ridge between horizontal and vertical surfaces ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 25 – 30 ). Propodeum not raised shelf-like, present below plane of metanotum and sloping posteroventrally. A furrow present on anterior part of propodeum behind metanotum. Propodeal orifice wide dorsally. Submarginal carina not produced as apical pointed/ rounded tooth. Submarginal carina and valvula of propodeum not free posteriorly. Metasoma sessile, T1 as wide as T2, without transverse carina but with transparent apical border. SMC2 basally acute. Prestigma shorter than pterostigma. Mid tibia with one apical spur. Ƌ: F11 hook like; F10, F11 short; no cavity on inner margin of antennal segments. Body length usually less than 15 mm.
Distribution. Ethiopian, Oriental and Palaearctic Regions.
