Chrysis (Chrysis) hermonensis Linsenmaier, 1999: 153 . Holotype ♀; Mt. Hermon , 2000 m, 28.vi.1971, leg. Bytinski-Salz (NMLU) ( succincta group).
Material examined. Holotype ♀ and paratype ♂, Mt. Hermon, 2000 m, 28.vi.1971, leg. Bytinski-Salz, det. W. Linsenmaier 1998 ( NMLU); Mt. Hermon, 1900 m, 27.vii.1971, 1♂, leg. Bytinski-Salz, det. W. Linsenmaier 1991 ( NMLU).
Distribution. Mt. Hermon, Egypt. Mount Hermon is the most southern part of the Anti-Lebanon mountain range, and its summit is currently the border between Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. The type specimens from Mt. Hermon were collected by Bytinski-Salz, without further information on the correct placement or slope of the mountain. However, the species is apparently widely distributed from Sinai to Anti-Lebanon mountains and its presence in Lebanon is unquestionable.
