Prothyma leprieuri (Dejean, 1831)
Geographic distribution: Mauritania, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Cameroon, Nigeria, People`s Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan and Yemen.
Distribution in Guinea –Bissau: 1, 23, 32, 36, 38, 43.
Specimens sampled: Mampatá-Nhacobá, 12.VII.2006, 2 ɗ, “WL”, ( AS).
Remarks: A species recorded for several countries of Africa throughout the northern, central and eastern regions. Apparently, and in accordance with Guérin-Méneville (1849), the adults of this species have the same behaviour of P. concinna cursor . However, we never found P. leprieuri during the day, it was always sampled at light (“BL” and “WL”).
