Anthribidae

p. 28. (1) Cappadocini Alonso­Zarazaga & Lyal. This name should be transferred to Mecocerini Lacordaire 1866 as a junior synonym. (syn.nov.). The type genus is a synonym of Phloeophilus (see below).

p. 28 (2) Alloschema Jordan, 1928 should be transferred to Zygaenodini , and placed in the catalogue immediately before Atinellia on p. 36.

p. 29 (1) Cappadox Alonso­Zarazaga & Lyal should be transferred to Phloeophilus Schoenherr as a junior synonym (syn.nov.) (p. 31). We overlooked, in creating this genus as a substitute for Lacordaire’s concept of Phloeophilus , that the type species we proposed is the same as for Platynorhynchus Schoenherr, 1839 , making these genera objective synonyms. Platynorhynchus Schoenherr, 1839 has no distinctive characters at the generic level separating it from Phloeophilus Schoenherr, 1833 , and we here synonymise the two genera (syn.nov.).

p. 29 (2) Diastatotropis Lacordaire, 1866 should be placed as Anthribinae incertae sedis (p. 36, before Entromus ).

p. 29 (3) Eczesaris Pascoe, 1859 should be transferred to Mecocerini (p. 31, before Mecotropis ).

p. 29 (4) Ethneca Pascoe, 1860 should be transferred to Mecocerini (p. 31, after E czesaris ).

p. 29 (5) Perroudius Holloway, 1982 should be placed as Anthribinae incertae sedis (p. 37, before Phymatus ).

p. 29 (6) Systellorhynchus Blanchard, 1849 should be placed as Anthribinae incertae sedis (p. 37, before Taburnus ). The date of publication of the type species should be corrected to 1849.
