Lectotype (Pignotti in Webbia 58: 315. 2003): Herb. Linn. No. 71.17 ( LINN) .

Current name: Scirpoides holoschoenus (L.) View in CoL Soják ( Cyperaceae ).

Note: Simpson (in Taxon 53: 180. 2004) independently made the same choice of type as Pignotti, whose typification was published a few months earlier.
