Bactra cerata insularis Diakonoff, 1964 View in CoL , Zool. Verh. Leiden 70: 49. Type locality: Fiji Islands, “ Fiji Islands ( Vunidawa , Reiva River)”. Holotype (♀): NHM. [subspecies of Bactra cerata View in CoL ]

Distribution outside Thailand: India and Sri Lanka ( Meyrick 1909), Indonesia and New Guinea ( Diakonoff 1964, 1973; Clarke 1976), Japan ( Nasu & Komai 2013), and Vietnam ( Nedoshivina 2013). Distribution in Thailand: E–– Trat Prov. (Trat Agroforestry R.St.), N–– Chiang Mai Prov. (Fang), NE–– Loei Prov. (Phu Luang W.S.), and W–– Kanchanaburi Prov. (Thong Pha Phum N.P.) ( Kawabe 1989; KKIC). Host plants: Unknown. Remarks: Specimens from Thailand were collected in agroforestry area, mixed deciduous forest, and hill evergreen forest at 30– 900 m.
