Leaves prostrate, longer than scape, margins ciliate. Inflorescence subspicate, flowers ascending, subsessile; pedicels not elongating in fruit; bracts relatively large, bilobed apically. Perianth cylindric-campanulate, pale blue; lobes 2 to 3 times as long as tube. Anthers violet. Capsule valves transversely broadly elliptic, emarginate.
