Male: Frons dark brown, broader than high (1.2:1), sub-shining, with sparse hairs. First row Straight, antials closer to antero-laterals than to each other. Second row of bristles straight, all four bristles being equidistant. Postpedicels yellowish brown, rounded-oval. Arista with relative long hairs. Palp yellow, 3 times as long as its width, with 5 apical bristles and 10–15 short hairs on ventral face. Thorax. Scutum yellowish brown, with sparse hairs. Scutellum yellowish brown, with 2 bristles and 2 hairs. Wing length 1.85–1.88 mm. Costal index 0.51. Costal ratios 5.79:1.5:1. Costal cilia 0.05–0.06mm. Veins brown and membrane light grey. Halter yellowish brown. Legs yellow. Fore tibia with 4 dorsal bristles. Dorsal hair palisade of mid tibia extends 1/2 of its length. Hind tibia without isolated bristles before apical apex. Hind femur yellow, except darker at dorsal edge. Posterior face of hind femur with 6–8 peg-like bristles, which the basal two bristles very strong and the others relatively slender and sharply pointed. Hind coxal lobes triangular. Abdomen. Abdomen with yellow and brown tergites, being mainly yellow along median thirds of tergites II–V. Tergite VI with anterior half yellow. Venter of abdomen light yellow, with sparse hairs. Male terminalia brown, except cercus yellowish brown; apical bristles of cercus not enlarged. Body length 2.3–2.6 mm.

Distribution. China (Hainan).

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the varied lengths of the peg-like bristles of posterior face of hind femur.

Holotype: ♂, Hainan Province, Jianfeng (18°43'N, 108°48'E, 700m), 20-V-2004, Guang-Chun Liu.

Remarks. The species is similar to D. dentiretusa sp. n., but differs from latter in having fine hairs on hind coxal lobe and no distinctly concave region on ventral margin of hind femur; it is also different from D. preserweberae Liu in that the microtrichia patch of hind femur does not extends outwards.
