Posterior face of hind femur w ith 4 peg-like bristles, 2 of them are very long, and closed adjacent from each other, more distally with a small isolated tooth-like process on ventral edge, and dorsally with 1–3 hairs just below dorsal edge. Hind coxal lobe dark brown, waterdrop-shaped. Abdomen. Tergites and terminalia brown. Venter and cercus yellowish brown.
Distribution. China (Hainan).
Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the closed adjacent peg-like bristles on posterior face of hind femur.
Holotype. ♂, China: Hainan, Jianfeng (18°43'N, 108°48' E, 900 m), 19-V-2004, Guang-Chun Liu.
Remarks. The species can be easily distinguished from other species of the genus by the closely adjacent peglike bristles of hind femur. In Disney's key (1990a), the species runs to couplet 37(37') to D. vorax Schmitz and D. harveyi Disney. However , the number of the peg-like bristles and their arrangement pattern are different from these two species.
