Diagnosis. Metanotum partially visible on dorsal midline, partial fusion of fore wing cubitus posterior vein and anal vein 1, fused bases of hind wing radius posterior and median veins, male opercula not strongly S-shaped nor with deeply concave lateral margin, males without abdominal timbal covers, male pygofer distal shoulder undeveloped, pygofer upper lobes present, large claspers lacking spines and dominating abdominal segment 10 present, small uncus if present, aedeagus lacking ventrobasal pocket and restrained by claspers, and apical theca lacking leaf-like lateral lobes ( Moulds 2005; Marshall et al. 2018).
