Combination: Cosmoppia ornata (Oudemans, 1900) ; (Balogh 1983), Dameosoma ornatum (Oudemans, 1900) ; ( Sellnick 1928), Oppia ornata (Oudemans, 1900) ; ( Willmann 1931).
Synonymy: Dameosoma tricarinatum Paoli, 1908 : ( van der Hammen 1952).
Geographic Location and Habitats: NL: between Corner Brook and Little Grand Lake, Balsam fir forests ( Dwyer et al. 1997, 1998).
Distribution: Holarctic; west Africa.
