Synonymy: Punctoribates latilobatus Kunst, 1957 : (Pavlitshenko 1994).

Geographic Location: BC: Vancouver Is.; Mainland, Richmond Nature Park; NB: Kouchibouguac NP; NS: Cape Breton Highlands NP ( Behan-Pelletier & Eamer 2008; Behan-Pelletier 2010); NL: Gros Morne NP ( Behan-Pelletier & Eamer 2008).

Habitats: Garry oak litter; moss and bark of fallen Redcedar; wet sphagnum ; bracket fungus on old stump.

Distribution: Holarctic.
