Type Locality: Cameroon Mountains.

Vernacular Names: Mt. Cameroon Forest Shrew.

Distribution: Confined to Mt. Cameroon ( Cameroon).

Conservation: IUCN – Endangered.

Discussion: Does not include isabellae ; see under that species. Karyotype (2n = 38) different from that of isabellae (2n = 36), see Schlitter et al. (1999).
