Leptotyphlopidae

Epictia resetari . On Map 8 of Wallach (2016, p. 275) a yellow dot is placed in PCG physiographic region. In the distribution of this species, however, Wallach does not list Oaxaca. Although it is likely that this species is found in this physiographic region of Oaxaca, we chose to wait until more information is available regarding the distribution of this species in the state .

Natricidae

Thamnophis validus . This species is found along the Pacific coastal region from Sonora to Guerrero. The southernmost record for this species is near Acapulco , Guerrero. We are aware of unpublished observations in the southwestern section of PCP, in the Costa Chica .

Viperidae

Crotalus exiguus . This species is found in the Sierra Madre del Sur in Guerrero . It is likely that its distribution could reach the southwestern section of the SMS in Oaxaca .

Crotalus mictlantecuhtli . Carbajal-Márquez et al (2020) identified individuals from localities close to the border with Oaxaca to be C. mictlantecuhtli . Although these authors did not examine material from the Oaxacan side ( PCG), the presence of this species in Oaxaca is likely .
