BRAZIL: Rio de Janeiro: Seropédica, VII to IX-2006, total number of 43 larvae collected from 5 nestlings (2 of 9 days old, 3 of 12 days old); mean 8.6 larvae per nestling; 33 (76%) adult flies reared; no nestling died ( Luz et al. 2011).
