Remarks. Das (2010) and Rasmussen et al. (2011) listed Singapore as part of the distribution for H. atriceps , but we are unsure where they acquired the record from since there are no publications reporting it from Singapore. Hydrophis atriceps occurs in the waters of Indo-Australia, with the nearest known population to Singapore being Kelantan, Peninsular Malaysia (Wallach et al. 2014).
