Remarks. Grismer (2011b) incorrectly cited Boulenger (1920) as reporting S. scotophilus from Singapore. No records or specimens exist for S. scotophilus from Singapore, which is distributed from southern Thailand south to Peninsular Malaysia, and Sumatra ( Grismer 2011b).
