Remarks. The occurrence of C. radiatus in Singapore is known from three records. The first is from Cantor (1847b) who included Singapore as a locality in his species account. The second two records are of ZRC.2.4531 collected at an unknown date and locality, and from SMNS 6017 collected in 1981. In Peninsular Malaysia, C. radiatus is most common in the northern states, and is not known to occur south of Selangor ( Lim & Kamarudin 1975) and Gunung Senyum ( Davis et al. 2018). Furthermore, C. radiatus appears to favour open, cultivated areas in dry habitats ( de Lang 2017). Thus, it is unlikely C. radiatus occurs in Singapore. We suspect Singapore as the locality for the two specimens was probably given in error .

LKCNHM & NHMUK Museum specimens. Singapore (no locality): ZRC.2.4531 (no date).
