Remarks. A specimen of S. indicus deposited at ROM (15524) is believed to have come from Singapore. Although, S. indicus encompasses a wide distribution from India east through southern China and Hainan Island to Taiwan, and south to Peninsular Malaysia, it inhabits montane forests from 1,100 m upwards ( Grismer 2011b). Thus, it is likely the specimen originated from outside Singapore, perhaps Peninsular Malaysia.
