Laudakia tuberculata View in CoL — Gray, 1845: 254.
Remarks. Gray (1845) reported a specimen from Argent’s collection from Singapore at NHMUK (BMNH XXIV.53. b), but this specimen did not appear in Boulenger’s catalogue ( Boulenger 1885), nor in any subsequent publications. As Laudakia tuberculata is native to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal and India (Vishwakarma 2019), it is likely that the locality catalogued is incorrect or the species was traded in Singapore. Either circumstance is likely given that Argent was a prolific natural history specimen trader.
LKCNHM & NHMUK Museum specimens. Singapore (no locality): BMNH XXIV.53.b (no date).
