Worldwide this species has been collected many times in flowers of a great number of plant genera in the subtropics and tropics. In the period 2005–2009 six females and one male were intercepted on Ethiopian Rosa import cut flower, ( Table 1). Its occurrence has previously been reported from Ethiopia also ( Moulton 1928).
