Anteon amritodiphagum Olmi 1991: 174 ; Guglielmino & Olmi 1997: 231, 232.

Description of Female. Fully winged; length 2.2–2.3 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous (in specimen from China, Taiwan, Shan-Lin-Chi, antenna brown, except segments 1–2 testaceous; in specimen from China, Moxi Town, antenna testaceous, except dorsal side of segments 2–10 brown); mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous, except metacoxa and club of metafemur partly black; occasionally legs testaceous, except metacoxa partly brown. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 10:4:3.5:3.5:4:3:3:3:3.5:6. Head shiny, more or less slightly rugose on vertex and face, except for smooth area in front of anterior ocellus; occasionally face granulated; frontal line complete; POL = 5; OL = 3; OOL = 3; OPL = 3.5; TL = 4; occipital carina complete. Pronotum shiny, sculptured by strong transverse keels, with posterior surface shorter than scutum (5:11); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum, scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured or punctate and unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.4–0.5 length of scutum. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels and median area as rugose as lateral areas; occasionally median area partly smooth. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (4.5:6). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 6:1.5:1.5:2:10. Enlarged claw ( Plate 18B ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 18B ) with two rows of bristles, in addition to one subdistal lamella; distal apex with about 11 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/ 2.

Male. Unknown.

Material examined. Types: holotype ♀: PAKISTAN: Islamabad , 30.IV.1989, reared from nymph of Amritodus atkinsoni (Lethierry) on mango ( BMNH) . Paratypes: same locality label as holotype, 1♀ ( BMNH) ; same locality label as holotype, 1♀ ( AMNH) . Other material. CHINA: Gansu, Dangchang County, Daheba , 2530 m, 31.VII.2004, Qiong Wu leg., 1♀ ( ZJUC) ; Sichuan, Luding, Moxi Town , 19.VI.2005, Jingxian Liu leg., 1♀ ( SCAU) ; Taiwan, Nantou, Tsuifeng , 2300 m, 1♀ ( TARI) ; Taiwan, Nantou, Shan-Lin-Chi, 1600 m, 16.V.1990, primary forest, FIT & PT, L. LeSage leg., 1♀ ( CNC) . Palaearctic: CHINA: Ningxia Hui Nationality Autonomous Region, Mt. Liupanshan , Linchang , Fengtai Forest Farm, 27.VI.2008, Gang Yao leg., 1♀ ( SCAU) .

Hosts. Cicadellidae Idiocerinae ( Guglielmino & Olmi, 1997) : in Pakistan: Amritodus atkinsoni (Lethierry) and Idioscopus nagpurensis (Singh-Pruthi) .

Distribution. China (Gansu, Sichuan, Taiwan, Ningxia), Pakistan (Islamabad).

Remarks. In Pakistan this species is present also in Lahore area (A.I. Mohyuddin, pers. comm.).
