Anteon confusum Olmi 1991: 171; He & Xu 2002: 171.

Description of Female. Fully winged; length 3.6–4.2 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus and small frontal area near clypeus testaceous (in specimen from China, Shanxi, Lishan National Nature Reserve, head black, except mandible and part of anterior margin of clypeus testaceous); antenna brown, except segments 1–2 testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennal segments of holotype in following proportions: 14:7:15:12:12:11:10:11:10:14. Head shiny, punctate and unsculptured among punctures; anterior half of face and partly vertex reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; POL = 6; OL = 4.5; OOL = 7; OPL = 6; TL = 7; occipital carina complete. Pronotum shiny, with anterior surface rugose and posterior surface smooth, punctate and unsculptured among punctures; posterior surface shorter than scutum (10:19); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli almost complete, reaching approximately 0.9 length of scutum. Scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels and median area as rugose as lateral areas; occasionally median area smooth. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein much shorter than proximal part (7:15). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 10:3:5:6.5:27. Enlarged claw (Plate 24C) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus (Plate 24C) with one row of approximately 30 lamellae; distal apex with about seven lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Olmi leg., 1♀ ( AMNH) . Palaearctic: CHINA: Shanxi, Lishan National Nature Reserve, Dahe Protection Station , 22–26.VIII.2012, YPT, Yajun Ren leg., 1 ♀ ( SCAU) .
