Description of Female. Fully winged; length 4.5 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown, except ventral side of segment 1 and segments 5–6 testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous, except mesotibia and mesotarsus brown; occasionally legs black, except trochanters and protarsi testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 28:10:18:11:10:10:10:9:9:14. Head shiny, flat, completely reticulate rugose; frontal line slightly visible; face with two lateral longitudinal keels near orbits directed towards antennal toruli; POL = 9; OL = 4; OOL = 9; OPL = 13; TL = 10; occipital carina complete. Pronotum hairy, shiny, strongly sculptured by transverse keels, except for short smooth area near scutum; pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum shiny, sculptured by irregular keels, except anterior half of median area smooth, punctate and unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.5 length of scutum. Scutellum shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metanotum shiny, sculptured by longitudinal keels. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface without longitudinal keels. Fore wing with one dark transverse band beneath pterostigma; distal part of stigmal vein much shorter than proximal part (4:8). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 10:5:8:20:48. Enlarged claw ( Plate 32B View PLATE 32 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 32B View PLATE 32 ) with some rows of about 50 lamellae extending continuously to distal apex. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Description of Male. Fully winged; length 3.0– 3.3 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous, except segments 4–10 dark; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous, except coxae partly black. Antenna hairy, filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 15:8:8:8:8:8:8:8:8:11. Head shiny, completely reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; POL = 9; OL = 8; OOL = 8; OPL = 7; TL = 4; occipital carina complete. Scutum, scutellum and metanotum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.5 length of scutum. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels; in specimen from Indonesia, near Tubang, posterior surface partly smooth, shiny, unsculptured. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (4:12). Parameres ( Plate 32C View PLATE 32 ) without distal inner process. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Description of Male. Fully winged; length 2.1 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous and clypeus brown; antenna testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 5:2.3:4.2:4:4:4:4:3.7:3.3:4.7. Head shiny, finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures; frontal line absent; POL = 2; OL = 1.2; OOL = 3; OPL = 1.5; TL = 1.8; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli slightly shorter than OPL (1.0:1.5); occipital carina complete. Scutum shiny, finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.5 length of scutum. Scutellum and metanotum smooth. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface reticulate rugose, with two longitudinal keels, lateral areas slightly reticulate rugose and median area smooth. Description of Female. Fully winged; length 3.1–3.7 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; occasionally metasoma brown; legs testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 10:5:6:6:5.5:5.5:5.5:5.5:5:8. Head dull, granulated, irregularly rugose, with areolae and irregular keels more numerous on anterior half of face; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 5; OL = 4; OOL = 4; OPL = 3; TL = 2. Pronotum with anterior half sculptured by strong transverse keels and posterior half totally or partly shiny, smooth, unsculptured or weakly granulated; posterior surface approximately as long as broad (in holotype) or shorter than broad (7:18) (in specimens from Thailand, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia, Sulawesi); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum of holotype shiny, smooth, unsculptured, except lateral rugose regions situated on sides of notauli; in some specimens scutum completely slightly granulated. Notauli incomplete, reaching 0.2–0.6 length of scutum (0.6 in holotype). Scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Propodeum dull, reticulate rugose, with transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surfaces; posterior surface without longitudinal keels. Fore wing with 1–2 dark transverse bands (in holotype and in specimens from Taiwan China), Sulawesi ( Indonesia) and Thailand), or hyaline and without dark bands (in specimens from Taiwan ( China), Thailand and Hainan ( China); distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (3:8). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 7:3:6:7:18. Enlarged claw ( Plate 32E View PLATE 32 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 32E View PLATE 32 ) laterally expanded and forming wide and slightly concave lamina (concavity with one row of 11–21 lamellae); distal apex with about three–four lamellae. Description of Female. Fully winged; length 2.4–2.7 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus and gena yellow-whitish; face with anterior half yellow-whitish and posterior half black; vertex of head black; part of ventral side of head yellow. Occasionally temple testaceous. Antenna yellow-whitish. Prothorax black, except pronotal tubercle white or testaceous; occasionally posterior margin of pronotum brown-testaceous; occasionally pronotum with lateral regions of posterior surface testaceous. Mesothorax, metathorax and propodeum black. Occasionally lateral regions of scutum partly testaceous. Legs yellow-whitish. Petiole black. Metasoma black or brown. Antenna clavate; antennal segments of holotype of A. lankanum   in following proportions: 11:7:7:7:7:7:6:7:7:9; antennal segments of holotype of A. planum   in following proportions: 5.5:3.3:3.3:3.3:3.0:3.0:3.0:3.0:3.0:5.2.Head shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures, with anterior half of face slightly rugose. Head hairless, except dense and long hairs on yellow frontal spot. In specimen from China, Naban River National Nature Reserve, vertex behind ocellar triangle rugose. Frontal line incomplete. In specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, POL = 3; OL = 5; OOL = 3.5; OPL = 3; TL = 5; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli slightly shorter than OPL (2.5:3). Pronotum shiny, hairy, punctate, unsculptured among punctures, rugose near anterior margin; pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Pronotum slightly longer than scutum (14:11). Scutum, scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching 0.65–0.70 length of scutum. Propodeum with transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surfaces; posterior surface with two longitudinal keels, with median area sculptured by several slight striae or keels and lateral areas reticulate rugose; dorsal surface of propodeum shorter than posterior surface (6:8). In specimen from China, Taiwan, Meifeng, median area of posterior surface of propodeum partly smooth. In specimen from China, Mt. Remarks. The holotype of A. planum   (only known specimen of this species) was a female deposited in ZJUC. However, presently it is lost. In 2005 we examined a pin with the original labels, but with no glued specimens. According to Professor Zaifu Xu, this holotype is lost, because it was destroyed by Psocoptera. According to the original description, there are no doubts that A. planum   is a junior synonym of A. lankanum   .

Pronotum shiny, slightly punctate, unsculptured among punctures, with two slight transverse impression situated respectively in anterior and posterior half; posterior surface shorter than scutum (17:21); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 13:7:12:10:10:10:8.5:8.5:8:13. Head shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures; frontal line incomplete, short, only present in front of anterior ocellus; POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 6; OPL = 4; TL = 6; occipital carina complete. Pronotum shiny, with anterior surface rugose and posterior surface smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures; posterior surface shorter than scutum (8:16); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula.
