Bocchus reticulatus Xu, Olmi & He 2003: 233 .
Description of Male. Fully winged; length 3.0– 3.6 mm. Head black, except mandible brown; antenna brown, except segment 1 almost completely yellow (only distal extremity darkened); mesosoma black; metasoma brown; forelegs of holotype testaceous, except proximal half of femora darkened; in paratype forelegs completely testaceous; midlegs of holotype testaceous, except distal extremity of tibia darkened; midlegs of paratype completely testaceous; hindlegs testaceous, except part of coxa, stalk of femur and distal extremity of tibia brownish. Antenna filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 17:10:15:14:13:12:11:11:10:15. Head dull, completely reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; face without pointed apophysis between antennal toruli; occipital carina complete; POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 10; OPL = 9; TL = 6. Scutum shiny, completely slightly reticulate rugose (rugosities less strong than those of head). Notauli complete, posteriorly separated; minimum distance between notauli longer than POL (7:6). Scutellum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures (holotype with slight rugosity near posterior margin). Metanotum dull, reticulate rugose. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface very short, dull, reticulate rugose, with broad areolae; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels and median and lateral areas completely dull and reticulate rugose. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (16:21); marginal cell open. Petiole very short, almost absent. Genitalia in plate 67D. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
Female. Unknown.
Material examined. Types: holotype ♂: CHINA: Fujian, Mt. Longqishan , 2.VII.1991, Changming Liu leg. ( ZJUC) . Paratype: same locality label as holotype, 1.VII.1991, 1♂ ( ZJUC) .

Distribution. China (Fujian).
