Description of Female. Fully winged; length 3.1–3.9 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown, except segments 1–2 testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous, except basal region of hind coxae black. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 13:6:14:12:11:11:11:9:9:13. Head shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures; anterior half of face reticulate rugose; frontal line incomplete, only present in posterior half of face; vertex with two oblique keels connecting posterior ocelli to occipital carina (surface between above keels usually smooth, in specimen from China, Mt. Wuyishan, rugose; in specimen from Malaya, Tanah Rata, above oblique keels reduced and hardly visible); POL = 6; OL = 4; OOL = 6; OPL = 5; TL = 6; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli shorter than OPL (3:5); occipital carina complete. Pronotum shiny, with anterior surface rugose; posterior surface smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures, shorter than scutum (10:18); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum, scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli complete, posteriorly separated; minimum distance between notauli longer than greatest breadth of posterior ocelli (7.5:3). In specimen from China, Mt. Wuyishan, notauli almost complete, with posterior extremity very near posterior margin of scutum. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels, lateral areas rugose and median area smooth, shiny, unsculptured. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (7: 14 in holotype; 12: 15 in specimen from China, Mt. Wuyishan). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 12.5:3:4:6:23. Enlarged claw ( Plate 44C View PLATE 44 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 44C View PLATE 44 ) with two rows of approximately 44–51 lamellae; distal apex with about 7–10 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Description of Male. Fully winged; length 2.1–2.4 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown, except segment 1 testaceous (segments 1–2 testaceous, in specimen from China, Bawangling National Nature Reserve); mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 4.5:2.7:3:3.3:3:3:3:3:3:4.5. Head shiny, smooth, finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures; frontal line incomplete, only present in front of anterior ocellus (in specimen from China, Hongxia Forest Farm, frontal line complete); POL = 2.6; OL = 1.5; OOL = 3.5; OPL = 1.4; TL = 2; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli shorter than POL (1.2:2.6); occipital carina complete. In specimens from China, Mt. Ziboshan and Mt. Jianfengling, head is slightly rugose behind posterior ocelli, on temples and along inner margin of eyes. In specimen from China, Bawangling National Nature Reserve, head strongly punctate and without frontal line. Scutum shiny, with anterior fourth punctate and unsculptured among punctures; rest of scutum unsculptured. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.7–0.8 length of scutum. Scutellum and metanotum smooth. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface reticulate rugose, with two longitudinal keels, lateral areas reticulate rugose and median area smooth. In two specimens from China, Nankunshan, head testaceous-ferruginous; antennae testaceous, except segments 5–10 brown; mesosoma testaceous-ferruginous, except metanotum brown, propodeum black, mesopleuron and metapleuron partly black; metasoma testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 13:6:8:6:5:5:5:5.5:5:8.5. Head shiny, smooth, slightly convex, punctate, unsculptured among punctures, with anterior half of face rugose; frontal line complete; POL = 5; OL = 5.5; OOL = 9; OPL = 5.5; TL = 8; greatest breadth of the posterior ocelli shorter than OPL (3.25:5.5); occipital carina complete. Head shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures; anterior half of face rugose; vertex rugose behind posterior ocelli; ocellar triangle rugose; frontal line complete; face with two lateral keels near orbits directed towards antennal toruli; POL = 7.5; OL = 3.5; OOL = 5; OPL = 6; TL = 4; occipital carina complete. Scutum shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli very short, only shortly present near anterior margin of scutum. In two specimens from China, Baotianman National Nature Reserve, notauli incomplete and reaching about 0.3 length of scutum. In specimen from Malaysia, Sabah, 4 Km S of Kundasang, scutum with some rugosities on sides of notauli. Scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Propodeum usually with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels and median area as rugose as lateral areas; occasionally posterior surface with two incomplete longitudinal keels. In specimen from China, Daheba, median area of posterior surface of propodeum rugose, with small smooth central area. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein much shorter than proximal part (2.5:13). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 11:2.5:2.5:3:10.
