Description of Female. Fully winged; length 5.1–6.6 mm. Head black, except mandible and clypeus ferruginous; gena of holotype and specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, partly ferruginous; gena of specimen from Japan, Omoto, completely black; anterior margin of face ferruginous in specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve; antenna of holotype with segments 1–8 testaceous; segments 9–10 missing in holotype; antenna of specimen from Japan, Omoto, completely testaceous; mesosoma of holotype black, except posterior collar of pronotum testaceous; mesosoma of specimen from Japan, Omoto, completely black; metasoma brown; legs of holotype testaceous, except coxae black; legs of specimen from Japan, Omoto, brown, except tarsi testaceous. Antenna clavate; holotype with antennal segments 1–8 in following proportions: 11:7:33:18:14:12:10:8 (last two segments missing); antenna of specimen from Japan, Omoto, in following proportions: 16:8:36:19:16:13:11:9:8:10.5; rhinaria present in antennal segments 6–10. Head dull, hairless, slightly convex, with dorsal surface reticulate rugose; ventral surface of head with medial area smooth and lateral areas sculptured by many longitudinal keels; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete, laterally not reaching eyes; holotype with POL = 8; OL = 2.5; OOL = 8; OPL = 2; TL = 2; greatest breadth of the posterior ocelli slightly longer than OPL (3:2); in specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, POL = 7; OL = 3; OOL = 10; OPL = 3; TL = 3; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli as long as OPL. Pronotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured, except many longitudinal striae around and on sides of disc; pronotum with disc humped and posterior collar short; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Scutum and scutellum dull, reticulate rugose. Notauli almost complete, almost reaching posterior margin of scutum (but slightly visible near posterior margin of scutum among areolae). Metanotum of holotype dull, reticulate rugose; metanotum of specimen from Japan, Omoto, almost completely smooth, shiny, unsculptured. Mesopleuron dull, reticulate rugose. Metapleuron dull, strongly transversely striate. Propodeum hairless, with dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface reticulate rugose, with two complete longitudinal keels; dorsal surface of propodeum about as long as posterior surface. Fore wing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein of holotype about twice as long as proximal part (19:9); in specimen from China, Nanling National Nature Reserve, distal part of stigmal vein less than twice as long as proximal part (19:12). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 24:2.5:5.5:17:25. In a specimen from Sri Lanka, Uda Walawe National Park, protarsal segment 1 much longer than segment 4 (25:15). Enlarged claw spatulate (Plate 76B) with a strong subdistal tooth and one row of 15–18 lamellae. Segment 5 of protarsus (Plate 76B) with three rows of 6–7 (longer) + approximately 48 lamellae without interruption to distal apex. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
