Gonatopus plebeius (R. Perkins) : Olmi 1984: 1647; Guglielmino & Olmi 1997: 229 Description of female Apterous; length 2.9–3.1 mm. Testaceous-reddish, except petiole black, metasoma blackbrown and antennal segments 3–10 brown. Antenna clavate. Head ( Plate 130E View PLATE 130 ) excavated, shiny, smooth, hairless, unsculptured or weakly granulated; occipital carina absent. Palpal formula 4/2 or 5/2. Pronotum shiny, hairless, unsculptured, crossed by strong transverse impression. Scutum unsculptured. Metanotum short, about as long as scutellum, not hollow behind scutellum. Metathorax + propodeum shiny, with anterior surface unsculptured and posterior surface transversely striate. Mesopleuron and metapleuron not transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Segment 1 of protarsus slightly shorter than segment 4 (9:11). Enlarged claw ( Plate 130F View PLATE 130 ) with one small subapical tooth and eight–nine peg-like hairs. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 130F View PLATE 130 ) with inner margin proximally serrated, with one row of 13–16 lamellae; distal apex with 10–16 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Male. Unknown.

Material examined. Types: ♀ lectotype (designated by Olmi, 1982): INDONESIA: Java, Pekalongan , 1907, reared from jassid nymph, F. Muir ( BPBM). Paratypes: same locality label as lectotype, two female paralectotypes ( BPBM). Other material. CHINA: Guangdong, Mt. Yunjishan, reared from Cicadellid , parasitized host collected 9.VI.2002, dryinid cocooning 12.VI.2002, dryinid adult emerged 8.VII.2002, M. Olmi leg. ( MOLC). INDONESIA: Java, Roban ( BPBM); Indonesia, 1955–1960, H.H.F. Hamann leg., 1♀ ( OLL). MALAYSIA: Malaya, Serdang ( DBUS) .

Hosts. Cicadellidae ( Guglielmino & Olmi, 1997) : in Malaysia (Malaya): Nephotettix nigropictus (Stål) ( Guglielmino & Olmi, 1997) .

Distribution. China (Guangdong), Indonesia (Java), Malaysia (Malaya).
