Microcurgus pallidovenosus Haupt, 1950 View in CoL , 29. Female. Type locality: Rutshuru , Democratic Republic of the Congo ( RMCA). Not examined.
Diagnosis. This female differs from the Palaearctic species by a larger third cubital cell of forewing; which is as long as the second submarginal cell, measured from above. The third submarginal cell is at most half as long as the second submarginal cell in the remaining known species. The body is uniformly black; compared to being partly or entirely pale yellow or red in both Palaearctic species.
