Poa amboinica Linnaeus View in CoL , Mantissa Plantarum Altera: 557. 1771.
"Habitat in India." RCN: 584.
Lectotype (Airy Shaw in Kew Bull. 2: 36. 1947): [icon] " Phoenix Amboinica Montana " in Rumphius, Herb. Amboin. 6: 19, t. 7, f. 3. 1750.
Note: The application of this name is unclear. Veldkamp (in Blumea 37: 233-237. 1992) gave an extensive review, concluding that the name is best treated as a nomen incertae sedis, and informally rejected it as such.
