Habitat: forests, cultivated soils ( Milutinoviċ et al. 2010) and meadows ( Mihailova 1966). Zoogeographical distribution type: peregrine (Csuzdi et al. 2011). Distribution in Bulgaria: one of the most abundant lumbricids in Bulgaria. More frequent in North Bulgaria ( Mihailova 1966).
